CENTENNIAL Museum BENEFIT
The Dutch Colonial farmhouse, built by William Dyckman in 1784, is a treasured New York City landmark, offering a glimpse into Manhattan’s once rural past. Since its transformation into a museum in 1916, it has preserved local history and served the Inwood community. To celebrate its centennial in May 2016, the museum hosted a special benefit, honoring a century of dedicated historical care. For this milestone event, I designed a save the date and formal invitation that capture the museum’s timeless allure. The design artfully blends soft floral photography with a vintage pencil sketch, creating a refined and subtle tribute to both the historic site and its lasting impact.
